Gift Card Policy

These Voucher Terms govern the use of SHEIKE gift vouchers and e-vouchers (collectively, ‘SHEIKE Vouchers’). These Voucher Terms constitute a binding legal agreement between SHEIKE & Co Pty Ltd (‘SHEIKE’, ‘we’, ‘us’ or ‘our’) and the person purchasing, redeeming, or attempting to redeem a SHEIKE Voucher (you). These Terms are to be read in conjunction with our Terms + Conditions and other terms or policies.

These Voucher Terms apply when you purchase, redeem, attempt to redeem, or undertake a balance enquiry of a SHEIKE Voucher (collectively ‘using’ a SHEIKE Voucher). By using a SHEIKE Voucher, you warrant and represent to SHEIKE that you have read and agree to be bound by these Terms and that you will not undertake any fraudulent or misleading conduct relating to a SHEIKE Voucher. If you are giving a SHEIKE Voucher as a gift, it is your responsibility to ensure that the recipient is aware of these Terms.

The SHEIKE Vouchers:

Are valid for 3 years from date of purchase, irrespective of when the recipient may receive it and can be redeemed against all products except other SHEIKE Vouchers, in SHEIKE stores or on the website.

Taxes (such as GST) and/or shipping is still applicable on any products purchased with SHEIKE Voucher. All SHEIKE Vouchers amounts are in Australian dollars (AUD).  

Once your SHEIKE Voucher has expired or reached a zero balance, it is no longer valid and cannot be reloaded, reactivated, or refunded. All SHEIKE Vouchers remain property of SHEIKE. Invalid SHEIKE Vouchers may be destroyed by you or returned to SHEIKE. You are not permitted to sell your SHEIKE Voucher. SHEIKE Vouchers purchased online (‘SHEIKE e-Vouchers’) are subject to further terms and conditions below.

If the SHEIKE Voucher is used on a purchase of a lower value than the amount remaining on a SHEIKE Voucher, the remaining amount will resume on the same SHEIKE Voucher. This can then be used on future purchases and will be valid to the same SHEIKE Voucher expiry period. If a purchase exceeds the value of the SHEIKE Voucher, the remaining amount must be paid for by another payment method, such as cash (in-store only), card, Afterpay or PayPal (online).

You can check your SHEIKE Voucher balance in-store by asking a SHEIKE Stylist at the counter, and by presenting your Gift Voucher online.

To purchase a SHEIKE Gift Voucher in-store ask a SHEIKE Stylist at Point of Sale and let them know the value you wish to be loaded onto the SHEIKE Gift Voucher. You can redeem a SHEIKE Gift Voucher in-store by presenting your Gift Voucher or online during the checkout process. e-Voucher Recipients must show photo ID to the SHEIKE Stylist at Point of Sale to redeem the e-Voucher. 

If you buy a SHEIKE e-voucher;

The e-Voucher will be emailed to the recipient once the full order has been processed and payment has been made (unless an alternate date is selected). An invoice with proof of purchase will be sent to the purchaser as confirmation;

The e-Voucher will include a unique code that can be used instore or online. The unique code needs to be entered at the point of reviewing items in an order (in the checkout process);

You are responsible for ensuring you have entered the correct full name and email address for the recipient. SHEIKE is not liable for delivery of a SHEIKE e-Voucher to an incorrect or non-existent email address; and

Promotion codes cannot be applied to the purchase of SHEIKE e-Voucher.

Products that are purchased wholly or partially with a SHEIKE Voucher may be exchanged or returned in accordance with our Returns Policy, for SHEIKE Credit. Any amounts paid by other tender will be refunded either for SHEIKE Credit (if the purchase was a Sale item) or in the same tender to the same account in which the purchase was made, except cash which will be refunded to a debit card.

You cannot exchange your SHEIKE Voucher for a different denomination of Voucher or for another tender, cash or discount. 

SHEIKE Vouchers cannot be returned for change of mind. SHEIKE will accept returns of SHEIKE Vouchers in accordance with our Returns Policy and the Australian Consumer Law where a SHEIKE Voucher is faulty or damaged due to a manufacturing defect or otherwise due to SHEIKE’s fault. SHEIKE does not offer returns on SHEIKE Vouchers where a SHEIKE Voucher is damaged due to fault of your own

SHEIKE is not responsible if a SHEIKE Voucher is lost, stolen, destroyed, or used without permission. SHEIKE Vouchers should be treated like cash and will not be replaced or refunded if they are lost or stolen.

SHEIKE Vouchers cannot be cancelled once they are issued, except if used, expired, or otherwise cancelled by SHEIKE.

SHEIKE reserves the right to cancel or alter the balance of a SHEIKE Voucher if such action is deemed necessary by SHEIKE, without notice to you, including but not limited to, where a Voucher is defrauded, stolen, defaced, mutilated, altered, issued in error, or otherwise tampered in any way. Where SHEIKE has cancelled or voided your SHEIKE Voucher due to SHEIKE’s fault or negligence, SHEIKE will provide you with a refund or replacement SHEIKE Voucher.

We reserve the right to cancel or block your SHEIKE Voucher if you report it stolen or if we consider that you are using it in a manner that is inconsistent with these Voucher Terms.

Please ensure to carefully read our Privacy Policy as it applies to our collection of your personal information in relation to Gift Vouchers.

SHEIKE Vouchers are not legal tender, account/credit/debit cards or securities and no transaction statements will be sent to you regarding your SHEIKE Voucher.

You agree that you are responsible for the use and protection of your SHEIKE Voucher and that you are liable for all transactions on your SHEIKE Voucher, except to the extent to which there has been fraud or negligence by SHEIKE.

You have certain rights under the Australian Consumer Law which cannot be excluded and are not affected by these Terms. To the maximum extent permitted by law, SHEIKE excludes all other liability arising out of or in any way connected with these Terms, including any liability for consequential or indirect losses of any kind, loss of profit, revenue, or goodwill, howsoever arising and whether caused by breach of statute, breach of contract, negligence, or other tort.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our maximum aggregate liability to you is limited to the purchase price of your SHEIKE Voucher.

A provision of these Voucher Terms or a right created under it, may not be waived, or varied except in writing with the consent of each of the parties.

Any provision of these Voucher Terms that is prohibited or unenforceable in any jurisdiction is ineffective as to that jurisdiction to the extent of the prohibition or unenforceability. That does not invalidate the remaining provisions of these Voucher Terms nor affect the validity or enforceability of that provision in any other jurisdiction.

These Voucher Terms are governed by the law of Victoria. Each party submits to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts exercising jurisdiction there in connection with matters concerning these Voucher Terms.

These Voucher Terms may be amended from time to time by SHEIKE and the latest version will be published on the SHEIKE website. It is your responsibility to keep up to date with these Voucher Terms.

SHEIKE reserves the right to amend these Voucher Terms at any time for any reason by two (2) weeks’ notice to you via the SHEIKE website. If you do not agree with such amendments, you may contact us, and we will cancel and refund your Gift Voucher or provide an alternate resolution.

Any amendments to these Voucher Terms will apply to all Gift Vouchers purchased or redeemed after the amendment date.
