We have snacks and drinks available for purchase in our foyers which are open an hour prior to each show and during interval.

Where can I park?

Parking, including wheelchair accessible parking, is available in a choice of two car parks in Neil Street opposite the Theatre. There is also parking available on the corner of Julia and Hume Streets and at the Neil Street Bus Interchange.

Parking after 5:00pm Monday to Friday, after 11.30am on Saturday and all-day Sunday is free of charge.

Please note: the Empire Theatre staff carpark on Julia Street is for staff only. Cars which do not have authorisation will be towed.

How will I find my seat?

Most often we are able to accommodate latecomers, however a lockout period may be stipulated by the performing company/artists. In this case you will be asked to wait for a few minutes before being let into the theatre at an appropriate time. In much rarer cases, you will only be allowed to enter during interval.
