Delivery

When will my order be dispatched?
Orders placed before midnight will be shipped the next day if all items are in stock. A notification will be sent to you when your order has been dispatched. Orders with items that are out of stock will be shipped when all items are available in stock.
How can I track my order?
An email is sent to you after your order is completed with a link to your order status page. Please keep this email in order to be able to access your order status and track your delivery.
Delivery updates will also be sent to you via email as your delivery progresses.
Can I select express shipping?
We currently only offer express shipping to select addresses. Please check your available options at the checkout. If you require express shipping for your order and it is not available at the checkout, please email us at customerservice@australiangeographic.com and one of our agents may be able to assist you.
How will my order be delivered?
We partner with multiple carriers to choose the best freight service for your location. Shipments may be delivered with Australia Post, Fastway, Star Track or other providers. Your shipment confirmation email will provide a link to track your parcel which will direct you to the freight provider for your shipment.
Does my order need a signature on delivery?
All orders will need a signature by a resident of the nominated address upon delivery. If the premise is vacant at the time of delivery, instructions will be left on how to collect your parcel or organise a re-delivery.
Can I change my shipping address after placing my order?
Please ensure the correct shipping details are used to avoid delays with your order. If you need to make a change to your shipping address, please email us at customerservice@australiangeographic.com and one of our agents may be able to assist you. We are unable to change the shipping address on orders that have been dispatched.
Do you offer international shipping?
Australian Geographic offers $44.95 Flat Rate shipping on all orders delivered outside of Australia. Delivery times will vary by location. International deliveries do not include any duties or taxes. Bulk items may incur a surcharge. Please confirm your final shipping quote at the checkout.
Do you deliver to PO Box addresses?
Yes, we can provide delivery to Australian PO Box addresses.
Can I select click and collect or pick up for delivery?
We do not currently offer any click and collect or pick up services.
What are your delivery timeframes?
Delivery time frames will vary by location. Our orders are shipped from Sydney, NSW. Please allow 2-8 business days for delivery. Some remote areas may have longer delivery times. Orders placed before midnight will be shipped the next business day.
How much does delivery cost?
We offer competitive shipping rates with a range of carriers. Shipping costs vary by state, so please confirm your final shipping quote at the checkout by entering your delivery address.
What if I'm not home when my order is delivered?
In the event you’re not available to receive your package, instructions will be left on how to collect your parcel or organise a re-delivery. Your parcel will not be left if the premise is unattended.

Orders

How do I purchase out of stock items?
Items that are out of stock may be temporarily unavailable for purchase. Submit your email address into the ‘NOTIFY ME WHEN BACK IN STOCK’ field to be alerted via email when this item is restocked.
Can I change or cancel my order after placing it?
Unfortunately we are not able to change or cancel orders once they have been confirmed. Please ensure your order details and quantities are correct to avoid any inconvenience. Please contact customerservice@australiangeographic.com to arrange a return of any items that were incorrectly ordered.
I received my order and something is faulty/damaged, what should I do?
Please email customerservice@australiangeographic.com to open a return authorisation. Please ensure you’ve read our returns policy before submitting any returns. Any returns submitted without approval or that are not in line with our returns policy may be rejected.
How do I start a refund?
Please email customerservice@australiangeographic.com to open a return authorisation. Please ensure you’ve read our returns policy before submitting any returns. Returns must comply with our returns policy in order to be successfully processed.
I made a mistake with my order. How do I correct this?
Please email customerservice@australiangeographic.com and one of our team members will be able to assist you with your order.

Australian Geographic Society

How does my purchase support the Australian Geographic Society?
Australian Geographic donates 100% of its profits to the Australian Geographic Society, including its conservation and sustainability programs. If you're interested in becoming a member of the Australian Geographic Society, you can do so by subscribing to the Australian Geographic magazine here. All subscribers automatically become members of the Australian Geographic Society.
What does the Australian Geographic Society do?
The AG Society is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to supporting adventure, science and the community. The AG Society’s members are many thousands of Australians who subscribe to the Australian Geographic magazine.

The AG Society supports conservation and natural heritage projects, scientific endeavours, and Australian adventurers as they achieve the seemingly impossible. The AG Society is also involved in fundraising, events, annual awards nights and scientific expeditions to remote areas. Learn more here.
